I have been familiar with the experience of madness for all of my adult life, and a good portion of my childhood. Some might have observed my madness and assumed it to be a manifestation of extreme distress. This is wrong. My madness is pervasive, and is a defining aspect of all of my experiences; the good, the bad, and the annoyingly mundane.
