Upcoming Autism & Neurodiversity Events
There are some really good events in the pipeline for this year, so in this email we’re going to look at everything on offer and how you can access it.
March
March brings you my first joint webinar with Tanya Adkin. We’ll be looking at Autistic wellbeing and how we can better understand it through neurodiversity affirming theory. Perfect for Autistic people who want a better understanding of themselves, and for professionals who support Autistic people towards better outcomes in their lives. Group ticket booking is available when booking a minimum of 5 tickets. Don’t forget to use code AUT15 for 15% off fixed ticket prices. For those who can not afford the fixed prices there is a pay-what-you-can-afford option.
April (Autism Acceptance Month)
On World Autism Day (April 2nd), Tanya and I will tackle the age old question of whether we need autism awareness, or autism acceptance, or perhaps something different altogether. Early Bird Tickets are available now with the usual AUT15 discount code applicable.
August
If you want to hear some absolute community rockstars in the field of Autistic mental health talk about how systemic issues impact on our wellbeing, then this is the conference for you. There are two options for attendance. You can attend in person, and meet with people face to face, or you can attend online, and engage through a facilitated livestream on zoom. Tickets to this event are on sale now at a range of prices. I highly recommend grabbing your ticket ASAP!
Live events not your cup of tea? Don’t worry, i’ve got you.
There are a selection of free and paid for resources on my website that you can engage with in your own time. Remember that 25% of all website sales will be donated to Autistic Inclusive Meets to support their vital Autistic rights advocacy and activism.
